I wonder why there aren’t throngs of gawkers out watching the sunset each evening. It may not be as novel or rare as an eclipse, but it’s every bit as breathtaking. I would certainly not invite any crowds, for that would feel far less personal, far less my own experience. It’s the place where I can hear my true self above the din of crickets, breathe in the universe, and resolve my thoughts and actions. It is when the day, as all things in our lives, good or bad, comes to an eventual end.
