Summer combos in the garden

The summer garden is now in full swing. As some plants fade and others shine, different combinations emerge. Some of these are planned, some are happy accidents. No matter what the premeditation, these combinations caught my eye as I walked through the garden this morning.

Pennisetum First Knight™, Gaura ‘Passionate Rainbow’ and Mandevilla Tropic Escape® ‘Crimson

Salvia ‘Caradonna’ and Echinacea ‘Guava Ice’

Rosa Knockout® Double Red and Tithonia ‘Fiesta del Sol’

Cleome Spirit™ ‘Appleblossom’ and Agastache ‘Blue Fortune’

Solenostemon ‘Henna’ and Salvia ‘Golden Delicious’

Solenostemon Wizard™ ‘scarlet’, ‘Strawberry Drop’, Colorblaze® ‘Dipt in Wine’ and ‘Moonglow’

  1. Utterly gorgeous! Your plants are always vibrant with life. I feel like they are akin to an orchestra. Every season corresponds to a different act or movement, where harmonies are created by combining various instruments, which in your case are your flowers and plants. The effect is a beautiful symphony. Thank you so much for sharing your summer blooms with us. Wishing you all the best!
