Chasing the day’s last light

A series of squalls darkened skies over central Illinois late this afternoon, dropping pellets of snow that melted as fast as they fell. In between brief but furious showers, the sun glistened the wet pavement. As the day waned behind a substantial cloud front, I chased its last light into the country.

  1. Excellent! Love the tree with the sky, probably the upper 1 the best. Hate to see old barns deteriorate like the 1 pictured is.
